If time is money, being productive is what makes you rich. When I stepped into the world of business, I had no idea what will happen next. I was so muddled up that I read more than a dozen self-help books about time management and workplace productivity. I am not a fan of reading, but back then, all I was thinking about is how I can maximize time and achieve more. Today, after years of experience and learning, I think I’ve come to the conclusion.
I guess, we all will agree to the fact that technology has changed the way things get done in the business world. Keeping that in mind, I’ve compiled the list of tools that can actually make you happier and more productive at work. Here, have a look.
1. Proofhub
Proofhub is an online project management and team collaboration tool designed to meet the needs of a growing business. This tool has a simple interface with plenty of amazing features that make managing projects a cake walk. Proofing, Gantt charts, reports, task management, discussions, and time tracking are some of the great features that this tool has to offer. This tool is one of my personal favorites as it offers everything you need to be more productive at work.
2. Freedcamp
Freedcamp is the type of tool you can use for better planning, organization, and action. The best thing about this tool is that it offers tons of functionalities and features for free. From team discussions to client billing, Freedcamp allows you to perform almost every activity that is involved in the project management at no cost. If you’re paying for too many tools to manage a project, I’ll recommend you to check this one out.
3. Asana
Asana has proved itself as one of the best team productivity tools available so far. It helps teams to stay on top of tasks and projects, no matter how complicated they are. If you and your team are struggling to get things done on time, Asana is exactly the kind of tool you need to employ to make everything work. Put it in place and you’ll never miss a deadline again.
4. Evernote
Evernote is pretty handy and versatile in organizing files, setting reminders, uploading attachments, and keeping things in sync across your desktop and mobile devices. On top of that, this amazing tool allows you to clip web data and keep them in place for later usage. That means you won’t have to switch devices or search for the same information, again and again. You can also save notes (audio and video) with a lot ease using Evernote.
5. HootSuite
I know what you’re thinking. “HootSuite is old school”. Well, to tell you the truth, HootSuite is an excellent tool to work with when it comes to social media management. This simple tool helps you to manage every activity across all social media accounts from one easy-to-use dashboard. You can use it to manage followers, track performance, schedule posts, delegate assignments and so much more.
6. Toggl
Toggl, simple time tracking software that lets you view how much time has been spent on various tasks across all projects. This software is super simple and to be honest, it’s the most effective way to measure performance and productivity. Just click the toggle button and you can track the time it takes to complete a task.
So this was my list of top business productivity tools. I hope it will help you to find new ways to work faster and be more productive at work. Also, if you have any awesome productivity tools or time management tools in mind that I can add to the list, share them in the comments below.
